I went to 10/17, but it is still. They said
Please confirm the shop
The head office is from the 4th. Katsurenan branch and Katsutake food shop seems to be open every day.
If you are looking forward to a good TONKATSU restaurant in Yokohama,I recommend you to visit the restaurant. The hand-made source is dericious! The TONTASHU is littile oily. Let's try it!
Very nice Tonkatsu and reasonable price. Not the best but certainly worth a visit.
Just yum.
Very nice pork cutlet from different Japan regions.
Excellent restaurant and good prices, some times a little busy and you have to wait outside but worth it.
This restaurant is authentic. I grew up going there with my family. They fry your meal when you order. If you sit downstairs they cook your meal right in front of you. Foods are deep fried but not greasy. You can ask more rice if you are hungry with no extra charge!
Delicious Tonkatsu, especially the sauce. Good service, good price. More rice and cabbage for free.
Delicious pork tonkatsu. English menu available. I always get the losu katsu which is the single large piece, you can also get smaller cutlets. Take out is available. Bit on the pricey side at around ¥1800-2200 for a meal but well worth it. Free rice and cabbage refills. The brown sauce on the table when you arrive is for the cabbage, they provide the tonkatsu sauce after you order.
Friendly staff. Great food. Ask for english menu.
Nice pork katau set dinner.
Amazing!
Nice! But overhyped. If you’re not in the neighborhood and only have a couple of days to burn, there are very good tonkatsu in town centre too.
Excellent meal. Pork was perfectly cooked to tenderness inside with a terrifically crunchy outside, complemented by the sauce and mustard. Great place.
Delicious katsu at a decent price. You can sit at a table or at the counter and watch as a line of chefs cook and plate your food. They have a full english menu as well.Located very close to Kannai station.
Quick service and nice clean interior, also doesn't seem to allow smoking which is a relief. I got the pork loin set and it was incredible. The outside was perfectly crunchy and crispy and the inside was tender and juicy. The sauces it came with were well balanced and matched the pork flavor well. Came with cabbage, rice and miso soup that were all standard quality.
Great traditional Katsu restaurantTHE GOOD: great katsugreat friendly servicelovely atmosphereTHE NOT SO GOOD:nothingThis place is a class above the rest. The menu is very simple, they thrive in what they do best and that is Katsu, all three of us had different dishes and we loved all of them. This place is not cheap but it is pure quality. I had the pork loin Katsu, the others had the Chicken katsu and the prawn katsu. We had the meal set, which comes with miso soup, rice and lettuce. If you are looking for great Katsu, then this is a must visit place.
Delicious katsu! I'll definitely go back for more.
Maybe the best tonkatsu i had. They know their business. However 30 dollars for a tonkatsu and a beer is rather expensive. The large portion is just enough for one person. It is definitely fat but not oily. Give it a go if you dont mind paying extra.
Nice place
GOOD****
Food was very good, service was also good. Busy but big place since it's very famous and very old and traditional. Not the coziest atmosphere since it's a big place with many people, but not too bad. Also free refills on cabbage and rice.
Foreign friendly. And has an English menu.
Fried pork chops if you enjoy that
Opened in the 1920s, supposedly the recipe and taste has not changed since then. Delicious.
Exquisitely cooked pork katsu. Breading is crisp and not too oily, and the pork is soft and delicious. Well worth a visit.
Very nice restaurant, you can't really smell the greasy smoke even you sit right in front of the counter. Service was fast during lunch time too, and the pork is very flavorful. A little bit disappointed on the chicken.. too dry even coated in sauces..None the less, definitely a great place to visit!
Great restaurant
Perhaps one of my most delightful meal here in Yokohama. No fa fare. Just amazing selection of pork cutlets and other possible variations. Slightly on the dear side about 2200Y but I felt it was worth it.
Good place to go. Queue star from 5:00pm.Go earlier!
Tl;dr just go here when you are in the neighbourhood. A must have in Yokohama. Was here a few years back. Kept thinking about it ever since. Had the vegetable set and pork loin (tochigi) set. Am extremely happy that the quality is just as I had remembered it. The vegetables were juicy; take care not to spray hot veggie juice on yourself. The pork loin was delicate and filling. The food just disappears in seconds if you are not careful. Totally worth the price of the meal. The place itself is a delight to dine in. Excellent, attentive service from amiable ladies make you feel like you're dining at your aunt's place. They also speak English and are patient with your order. Menu is also in English. The decor is great and the crowd tends be local and more reserved. Not a place for loud talking and partying.
